In March this year I requested a FOI (Freedom of information) as to how much was spent on North Wales police officers using mobile phones?Below shows my request and their reply:
As you can see from their reply it is very vague, how would the tax payer know these officers were not using their mobiles to phone their friends and families or chat lines? I’m suggesting this as they paid for a young burglar who was on bail living in Llangefni who was supposed to be issued with a pay-as-you-go phone but North Wales Police mistakenly supplied the burglar with a contract phone, so he was able to phone chat lines, call friends and family and ring other criminals in the area to see if any stolen property was for sale and wait for it… he ran a bill up of £44,500 and who paid for these calls? Us, all met by mugs money.
What I find astonishing, no officers were disciplined. I think it would’ve been nice for the deputy Chief Constable, the Police Crime Commissioner and any other officers involved in this case to have done a sponsored walk up Snowdon to raise money to pay the bills this naughty boy ran up on the mobile phone.
Why was this met by the taxpayer? Please read below my Freedom of Information request regarding this phone bill.
North Wales Police wasting taxpayer’s money once again, they wouldn’t be this laxly if they had to pay the bills for these mobile phones themselves.

The reason the old bill give the burglar a phone was because he was giving the cops information that’s why they couldn’t prosecute him A FACT!!!!!! It’s wrong the taxpayer footed the bill.
