On May 14th 1981, I was at a Disco in the Conwy British Legion, back then it was the place to be on Friday & Saturday nights.
I was drinking with my friends when in came 2 of The Mob, Sgt Williams and Sgt Oliver, they took my beer out of my hand, saying I was not 18, there were also other people in the Legion who were under-age but they targeted me.
They went to all the Conwy landlords and told them I was under-age and not to serve me.
You will see the names Williams and Oliver crop up a few more times on this blog
I then had to appear at the juvenile court, charged with consuming intoxicating liquor under age and given a £5.00 fine.
What do you think, should I have received a caution, was I unfairly targeted by The Mob?

Juvenile drinking in the legion I’d have took the drink and sent you home it’s a clear act of prejudice and imagine it nowadays all the mob do is take the alcohol off the youths empty down a grid and no fines .

Drinking under age i was drinking at the age of 14 i used the conwy legion as much as any other pub i never had any trouble from the plods it seems to me you have been victamisesed Mr Creamer, i know you but dont want to be targeted so im being anonymous, good luck to you and your familly.
You gettin’ a gaddomn hardon there, Morgan? Doakes was a great character. Sad to seem go, but if he hadn’t there wouldn’t be a show anymore (because he knew and Dexter wouldn’t be able to kill him) and that’s worse. Though, it would take an explosion to kill Doakes, wouldn’t it?
£5 fine …its almost funny when you read it,but not so funny when you have to live with it. shame on them, shame on north wales police, they fined this young man for buying a pint but turn a blind eye to the kids on the corner smoking underage…this wasn’t about the legality this was about targeting one young man and then hounding him for the next 35years,
North Wales Police are more corrupt than north korea…..
From what I have read so far it appears that there needs to be a major public enquiry into the actions of NWP.
