A furious Welsh policeman attacked his police officer wife and a colleague after suspecting the pair were kissing at their force Christmas party a tribunal heard.
The married officer was arrested for punching his colleague 3 times and pushing his wife in the bust up in a crowded bar.
A disciplinary hearing was told that the festive celebration turned violent when the officer believed his colleague was kissing his wife inside the Coyote Ugly bar in Swansea, the bust up was all caught on CCTV in the bar; an investigation was carried out by Dyfed Powys Police but no further criminal action was taken against the bad boy cop.
So, if you’re out over Christmas and your wife is kissing somebody in a bar, you can go over and punch the man in the face half a dozen times and no further criminal action should be taken, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander!
The funny part of this is that over the Christmas period last year the force was promoting two anti-violence campaigns, one trying to clampdown on domestic violence and one called ‘just walk away’ urging people to think before acting on nights out.
